Xbox 360 - 'Lips' feat. Lily Allen
An interactive online music video and TV commercial of people singing Lily Allen's hit song 'The Fear' to launch the Xbox 360 karaoke game 'Sing with Lips'.
We captured footage of thousands of people using the game in our custom built kiosk, set up within shopping malls and nightclubs during a six week tour around the UK. We defined the way in which the public performances were shot to ensure the footage complimented our bespoke composition software, used to create the Lily montage.
The database system we developed allowed us to organise and vary complex aspects of the film that were then composited into the final piece. We worked closely with the director on pre and post production, including the live shoot with Lily and during the performance selection process.
The campaign's website generated 32 million page impressions and is one of the most viewed music videos on MSN.
